What restrictions has the government put on you during this pandemic. Do they make sense?
I understand the need to limit the spread of COVID-19. but there are times I question the methodology chosen by our political leaders. Most of the time they seem to be stumbling in the dark, without much of a clue about what they are doing.
As a Canadian I have concerns about my government’s attempts to run roughshod over civil liberties with no scientific evidence to back its actions. But I will save those for another day. Today let’s discuss the situation in Germany.
I don’t have the same emotional response to the COVID restrictions here. I figure that is the domain of German citizens. I’m a guest, I just follow the rules, even if some of them don’t make sense.
For example: A friend came to visit. She lives alone and came for a meal. We practiced social distancing (we have a large dining room table) and a good time was had by all.
Such interaction was in strict adherence to the COVID rules here. One person may indeed visit a household (with no restrictions on how many people are in that household).
But my wife and I could not share a meal at her house. Because only one person can visit a household.
Simple math will tell you that 1+2=3. So does 2+1. The same three people. Yet one can visit the other two. Not the other way around.
Does that make sense to you?
The reverse is possible? That 3=2+1 ? 😉
They have clarified now that the reverse is also possible.
