I’m feeling a little frustrated today. I don’t think you can see what I see.
There was a dusting of snow yesterday, and afterwards I could see from my kitchen window that the Black Forest looked beautiful in the sunshine. I wanted to take a picture, but I couldn’t get one without houses in the way. So I figured I would go outside and see if I could get a better angle.
That didn’t work. As soon as I stepped out the door the sun disappeared and the view was less spectacular. The snow had already melted in the street, and looked like it was also melting on the hills. Not that it would have mattered all that much – streets in Sulzburg are so narrow that the angles were worse than in my kitchen. So I snapped a few photos and came back inside. That’s when I took the kitchen picture (above) though the lighting isn’t as good as I had hoped.
I wish you could have seen what I saw. The pictures just don’t do it justice. I guess if you came to visit you would see what I mean. That is, if you were here during the ten minutes of sunshine we get most winter days – other than that it can be pretty gloomy. We have a guest bedroom if you need a place to stay. Until then, you can enjoy these photos.
