There are some Canadian Christmas traditions I don’t miss. Living in Germany means I don’t have to deal with my daughter’s cat and the Christmas tree.

Do you see her?
With her busy schedule and mum and dad not home, I thought she might not bother putting the tree up this year. I guess she decided she couldn’t disappoint the cat, who has been waiting impatiently for the past 11 months for Advent to come around so that she could misbehave in style.
When I first posted pictures of the cat in the tree back in 2015 I received a lot of positive feedback. So I repeated that post in 2016. Last year, our first in Germany, I don’t remember sharing any cat-in-tree pictures – but I did hear about the escapades.
So for those Willow the cat fans, here is this year’s installment of cat in a tree. Sadly, I expect she will repeat the behaviour next year. Did I mention that I am not impressed by this cat?
“But human! It’s a tree! Trees are there for climbing exercise… you should give it a try!”
