Technically it isn’t winter until Thursday, though we started off Monday with our first snow of the season. It didn’t last though.

We had sunshine by early afternoon, and by the time I made a grocery run it was a beautiful day. I snapped some pictures on my walk home. The colours on the hills looked even better to me than they show in the pictures. I think that had something to do with my sunglasses.

Still, I thought it was an interesting effect, with snow on the top of the mountains, a trace of fog and sunshine reflecting off the buildings. Thinking you might agree, I’m sharing these photos.
