There are two boats that take you to the base of the falls, one from the U.S. and one from Canada. It was late afternoon and the American boat had stopped service for the day, so the captain of our boat was able to spend longer just sitting there. From that perspective it is complete sensory overload. Nature’s power vs. human helplessness.
