Take A Deep Breath
Win lose or draw, life goes on, I didn’t take many pictures of the fall colors this year, but it seems much more peaceful today to share a couple, rather than discussing US election results. The forest trails seem so peaceful. Here no-one cares about elections.
Thanksgiving Monday 2018
Due to some computer issues, I’m re-posting this from 2015. It is Thanksgiving Day in Canada today. I was going to give you a list of things I am thankful for, but I’m really not a list-maker, or at least not today. I could have shown you some pictures of the walk my wife and […]
Liliental – IV (Wanderer)
Came across this sculpture at a lookout on the trail in the Liliental forest. It seems to fit nicely into its environment.
Liliental – III
Saturday was a perfect day to enjoy the fall colours.
Liliental – II
More images from Saturday’s walk through this forest area.
Liliental – I
Our neighbours suggested a walk in the forest in the Liliental area, about an hour’s drive from Sulzburg. Yesterday was a warm (25C) Autumn day, perfect for such an outing. Fall Colours V
It looked like a perfect picture. I was in a conference room on the fourth floor of Centre Block on Parliament Hill. Through the gothic arched windows I could see the Gatineau Hills alive in a blaze of fall colour. “I must get a picture of this” I said to myself. “As soon as the […]
Fall Colours IV
I took a lot of pictures on our Sunday afternoon walk, which may turn out to have been the last day with double-digit temperatures this fall. Yesterday afternoon we had a snow squall, quite an intense one. My wife and I will still walk in winter, though maybe not for as long each time. When […]
