When I arrived downtown Monday, I noted that there were film crews near Parliament Hill. I thought it might have something to do with the first anniversary of the arrival of the Freedom Convoy, but I was wrong.
Turns out it was a Christmas movie. Yes, in January, when there is actually snow on the ground. What a novel concept.
I didn’t go check it out – I had things that I needed to get done at work. By the time my work day was over the moviemakers were gone.
I realized than though that I never did show you my pictures taken from the last Christmas movie I stumbled on, one shot just outside my office. I didn’t get the name, it was just one of 16 Christmas themed films shot in Ottawa in 2022.
It was the first week of October, so the snow is fake. That happens a lot, easier to shoot with fake snow than in winter weather. People watching at home probably didn’t notice.
