I came across this sign while walking through the truckers’ protest in downtown Ottawa. I had to look twice to make sure I understood.
As far as I can tell, someone is trying to sell a snowbank on the side of the road. Can that really be the case?
I doubt there were any takers. Maybe when the snow was fresh and white – this pile looks like it has seen better days.
I was tempted to call the number and ask. I am rather curious as to how much you can get for a pile of snow in Canada in winter. Given how much we have, I wouldn’t have thought there was much of a market for it.
Then again, as we have learned since the advent of the internet, people seem to be willing to buy just about anything. It is all a matter of connecting buyer and seller.
Whihc reminds me. If you want to buy this pile of snow, I really should get a commission. Call soon though, it was melting when I walked by.
Just speculating, but maybe it is saying something about Quebec Premier Legault. His government was going to table a bill to impose a health fine on the unvaccinated. He decided against it because, he said, it would create even more division between the people.
