It is the first Sunday of Advent, which is when our family usually puts up the Chruistmas tree. We jumped the gun a little this year since we had a busy Sunday scheduled and did it a day early.
Our routine is that I put the tree together and the rest of the family decorates. I think it looks pretty good.
There is one thing missing though. The biggest tree ornament has yet to make an appearance. If you have been following this blog for a while, you know that my daughter’s cat, Willow, thinks the Christmas tree is a great place to hang out. My dispoleasure has never been a deterrent.
This year though, more than 24 hours have passed with no cat in a tree. Can she be growing up? Or is she plotting something spectacular, like pulling the whole thing down.
I’m not sure I want to know.
It’s only a matter of time…
