The weather forecast has a hint of sunshine one day next week. I’m not holding my breath.

Winter in Sulzburg is the gloomy season. When it isn’t raining it is cloudy. Yes, it is warm, but I’d rather have minus twenty and the sun sparkling on the snow. The snow here melted in two days in the rain.

It has been so bad that to brighten my day I’ve been looking at pictures on my computer, places I’ve been in the past few years where the sun shone. Taking my daily vitamin D pills hasn’t been enough.

Maybe you have had sunshine where you are this past month. If so, consider yourself blessed.

For those who haven’t, today’s photos come from a walking trail in Bad Wurzach, a resort town a couple of hours from Sulzburg. I must have known on that afternoon that I was going to be craving sunshine in February.
