I woke up Sunday morning and there was snow on the ground. Winter is almost over, and for the first time the flurries didn’t melt on contact. Not enough snow to justify putting on boots mind you, the streets and sidewalks were bare, but it was better than nothing. I’ve missed winter.

It will all melt in a day or so, even with the overnight temperature forecast to be below freezing. Our Sunday afternoon walk through the vineyards was very beautiful. It is always beautiful there, but this was a different look from what I have experienced here before. It was cloudy, but I wondered if sunshine would have made it too bright.

Therefore, I’m going to share a few pictures today and some more tomorrow.
