What A Difference a Day Makes

Thursday was sunny, and the stream that runs through Mullheim was freezing over. It didn’t feel that cold to me, and running water takes a while to freeze.

Friday was cloudy, then a snow storm hit (though we didn’t see snow in Sulzburg, 10 kilometres away). Seemed like the same temperature to me, but it looked like there was less ice, as if some had melted.

I’m sure if I had paid more attention in school I would know all about how and when running water freezes. And why the ice was melting when it was still cold. Too late now. And I don’t really need to know.

I did think the view both days was nice, so I figured I should share.
