It was dusk when we arrived at the Central Experimental Farm. Or maybe it just seemed that way because it was overcast. Whatever the reason, a row of greenhouses stood out as a blaze of light.
I guess the lights help stimulate growth. I’m the wrong guy to ask horticultural questions. I know plants need water and light, but don’t ask me to provide them. When my family goes away and leaves me in charge, I usually forget to water any plants for the first week. The lack of water doesn’t seem to hurt them any.
Getting closer to the greenhouses I can tell you authoritatively that there were green things growing. What sort of green things is outside my area of expertise.
I found the lighting interesting though, which is why I snapped these pictures.
