It is that time of year when the leaves change from green to yellow and red. people come from Europe and farther to take in the fall colors in the Ottawa area (as well as elsewhere in Ontario, Quebec and norther New England).

Maybe it was our wet summer, but it seems to me the color change was a bit later this year than it usually is. Or maybe it has been getting later each year and I just haven’t noticed

Today’s pictures were taken on a cloudy day at one of Ottawa’s more popular spots to walk, Mere Bleue, about a week ago.
