As someone who went to law school she should have known better than o misrepresent herself to the media. Has she never heard of fact checking?

I suppose she could have lied. After all, that is what you would expect from the Trump White House, and organization that follows the policies of Joseph Goebbels.

Being the chief apologist for the current US president isn’t an easy job. It requires someone with the ability to defend the indefensible. Those are tough to find. Or maybe not in MAGA nation.

Given the vacancy, I am wondering if I should volunteer. I’m sure I could handle it better than the last person. I know enough not to fudge my resume. I have experience in both journalism and politics (and degrees in both). And it probably pays well.

The only problem is that I would insist on doing the job properly. Provide answers to the press to the questions they ask. Don’t insult them. Explain government (or presidential) policies n a way that the media can clearly communicate the message to the American public. Speak the truth, not falsehoods.

I’m not holding my breath waiting for the call. I suspect in the MAGA world I would be spectacularly unqualified. Not only am I neither female nor blonde, I believe in telling the truth,
