When I see something at half price, I figure the store is having difficulty selling whatever it is. Too many in stock, not enough demand. Does this mean the COVID-19 pandemic is officially over?

I’m a little surprised that face masks would be marked down so drastically. Remember 2020? It wasn’t all that long ago.

Still, maybe everyone stocked up back then and don’t need any more. I know I did. I think I have a couple of unopened packages of N95 masks, and probably 50 others sitting in various places around the house.

It strikes me as strange though, probably because I seem to know a lot of people still getting COVID-19, all of them fully vaccinated, which at least meant the symptoms have been milder.

I didn’t buy any masks at half price – but I’m certainly not getting rid of the ones I have. What about you?
