I missed Winter. I’m not ashamed to admit it.
Four years spent in southern Germany, with the annual snowfall was less than a centimetre (except for one glorious day in early 2021) had me missing winter. Even when it was -20 this January I was reveling in the cold and snow.
Still, when I woke up earlier this week to snow in the forecast, I had to admit that it seemed a little excessive. Four years of no winter, I was ready for it to be over. After all, I haven’t experienced a Canadian Spring since 2017.
This week’s snow didn’t stay, and it did look pretty coming down. Still, I am ready for Spring, and apparently I’m not the only one. Today’s images are courtesy of Mike, who also is waiting for Spring to arrive.
Hopefully in the near future I can do a Spring post featuring blossoms and blooms. Then again, this is Canada.
