I have come to realize that people really aren’t fans of Monday – at least in North America. The aversion probably isn’t the same in places where the work week begins on Sunday. This post, from January 2017, was the fourth most-viewed here in 2021. Even though it isn’t Monday today, I hope you get a chuckle out of it.
I don’t dislike Mondays. I like my job and enjoy going to work. I will admit though, it is nice to have a break, to get a couple of days off for the weekend.
This past weekend was busier than most, and it almost seems like there was no time to rest and recharge for the work week. So it seems appropriate, given the way my brain works, that we would celebrate Monday the way so many people do. Today I will pretend to dislike the day (hate seems too harsh) and offer these images in support.
