Woke up to this scene Wednesday morning. A smattering of snow had fallen overnight.
I knew it was a possibility at this time of year, but must admit I hadn’t been checking the forecast, so it took me a little by surprise. I expected it all to melt during the day, but some of it was still there when the sun went down. Another sign that Winter is on the way to Canada.
Normally such a small amount of snow wouldn’t be worthy of comment, but I have been in Germany at this time the past couple of years. This snowfall, as insignificant as it is by Canadian standards, is about as much of the stuff as we saw all last winter in Sulzburg.
I’m enjoying being back in this climate – though I might not feel that way if it drops to -30 before we heard back.
