With only a few days left in Canada I have been rather remiss about posting in this space. So many things to do before we leave, and it seems there is never enough time. I have several new posts bubbling in my head but haven’t gotten around yet to putting pen to paper (so to speak).
Today though, a return to Germany, some pictures of the church at St. Peter, which we visited almost a year ago. We were barely past jet lag and were taken by a new friend on a Sunday afternoon trip through the Black Forest. I posted a few impressions of that afternoon, but for some reason never got around to sharing these pictures from the church (from which the town takes its name), which was founded almost a thousand years ago, by the same family that founded the city of Freiburg.
The present church building doesn’t go back quite that far, but it is an impressive sight, inside and out.
