I think you need a day off. I know I do.

But then I thought about the ramifications of not posting something. If you are a daily subscriber you might have wondered if I was ill, or had been hit by a car (neither of which is really an excuse for not putting something in this space).

Or you might have thought there was an issue with your computer or email, and spent hours searching for the missing post. Would you have done that? Probably not.
