   Interesting developments with AI.

   A friend was playing around with it and had it write a legal brief which it did nicely and with perfectly formated reference cases. Only problem, when it couldn’t find what was relevant, it just made it up.
   I wonder if there is a Trump factor: don’t know, don’t have info? make it up.

      I read a news report where a lawyer actually submitted a written argument with bogus case law that AI had dreamed up.

         There are careless and lazy people in every profession. With new or emerging technology, one would hope for more caution. Hope you are well.
