I delayed posting today because I wanted to be the first with post-series analysis as the Toronto Maple Leafs were swept by the Florida Panthers in their NHL playoff series. I was just waiting for the game to end before sharing my thoughts.

Now my carefully thought out analysis is worthless as the Leafs managed to win the game. Which was a surprise given how they played in the first three games of the best of seven ssries.

I wasn’t home to watch the game on television, so I really can’t talk about how well the Leafs played. I know the final score was 2-1, which would seem to mean their rookie goaltender played very well.

As someone who was hoping for an all-Canadian NHL final I’m happy. That dream still remains, though it is statistically unlikely.
