For the past week or so I have been asking your your feedback in the form of a short, six-question, survey about this blog. If you have already taken it, thank you.
Today is your last chance to participate. You can only fill it out one time per reader, a policy designed to stop the blog from being hijacked by those (like my mother) who only want cat videos.
It’s been a couple of years since I last did one of these surveys, and the preliminary results have been surprising. Maybe it is my memory that is failing, but the top topic category last time isn’t in the top five so far this time. And another top five topic is dead last. I won’t skew the results by telling you what that is – though I suppose you could look it up.
I’ll have results and analysis (such as it is) for you later in the week. I should point out to you though that this is an internet poll. That means inherently that the margin of error is far greater than that found in traditional polls. On the internet no-one really knows who is typing the responses. I didn’t pre-qualify you like a proper polling firm does. The only control is the one vote per customer rule, and any computer-savvy person can think of a few ways to get around that. Though why you would bother in this case I’m not quite sure.
No matter what the results are, I’m hoping to be interesting, entertaining and informative, no matter what topics we cover in 2019.
