I glanced out the airplane window and then looked again, concentrating this time. We were flying somewhere over Greece, a place I have never been to before (and still haven’t been – I was only changing planes in Athens). Something about the landscape below struck me, a certain beauty that seemed different, though I’m not sure I could say different from what.
So I grabbed my phone and powered it on so I could take some pictures. Not that you can get great pictures at 30,000 feet. I find plane windows always seem a little smeared, which makes picture taking a challenge. A better camera would have helped too, but I didn’t think to bring one on a business trip.
Still I was pleased with some of the shots I took, even if I have no idea what the hills or the body of water are.
