As Christmas approaches, society seems to jack up the Santa imagery, probably to help people with their shopping, but I still run across the occasional nativity scene. It is good to be reminded that Jesus is the reason for the season.

I’ve come across this image in several places in the past, and today seemed like an appropriate day to share it. Consider it your Monday morning treat.

Devout Christians will look at this and see a depiction of the Christmas story: Mary and Joseph worshiping the infant Jesus. But what do you see if you are not a Christian?

Look closely. Isn’t this a picture of two Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaurs about to fight over a watermelon? I doubt that was the artist’s intent – but once you see it, it is hard to see the originally intended nativity scene.
