Mer Bleue Once Again

We were there Christmas Eve when it was unseasonably warm – two months later than our usual last visit for the year. Yesterday was Easter, and it was also unseasonably warm, so we headed back to Mer Bleue.

We avoided the wooded trails, which were certain to be all mud, and stuck to the boardwalk. There was a bit of ice and snow, but not much.

But it didn’t look like Spring yet. There are no greens, no buds, the foliage, such as there is, is brown and dull.

But that doesn’t matter. It is the time of year when we know Winter’s grip has been loosened. Next time I’ll have pictures of greenery to show you.
