Today is a holiday in Canada. In the US also, though they spell it Labor Day. I guess the extra ‘u’ was too much like work, so they dropped it.

Given that it is a holiday, I thought I would take today off – especially since today is a salute to workers, and posting here does seem to qualify as work. But since I tend to write in advance and my computer automatically posts these messages, it didn’t seem like I could justify the break.

Upon further thought I realized that even if I wasn’t working today, I was making you work to read this post. So I’m stopping here. Go, enjoy the day, wherever you are. I’ll see you back here tomorrow, I hope.
