My original intention was to pontificate on 2023, talk a bit about the high and low points of the year. To prepare for that I looked at the post from this day last year, to see if I had made any predictions for the year ahead.

I didn’t. Instead I gave you a number of New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day comics that had tickled my funny bone. I hope you found them funny.

Certainly I laughed when I saw them again. Enough that I decided to repeat the experience this year.

Tomorrow will be time enough to get serious.

Whether you are partying or spending the evening in quiet contemplation, I hope you spend this December 31 exactly as you had wished.

But the day after tomorrow things will start getting better. We aren’t required to repeat the same things over and over – unless you choose to do so.
